Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Prince of the Eastern Province, the Asharqia Chamber will celebrate next Sunday evening, December 5, 2021, the 70th anniversary of its founding, and several ministers, officials, decision-makers, and business leaders in the Kingdom and the Arabian Gulf will participate in the celebration.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul-Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, said that the Chamber was keen on wide participation in its celebration of the seventy years of its establishment, so it invited about (1,000) personalities, including ministers, officials, decision-makers, presidents, members of chambers of commerce and business leaders in the Kingdom and the GCC countries. Al-Khaliji pointed out that the Chamber celebrates seventy years of giving, leadership, and excellence in serving the national economy and the business sector from the people of the Eastern Province.
Al-Khalidi added, "The celebration on the occasion of the establishment of the Asharqia Chamber is a celebration for all the people of the eastern region, and it tells of its history and achievements over the past seventy years, and the challenges it faced and the mechanisms and tools it used in dealing with the movement of economic development that the Kingdom and the region are going through in general." After the other, "pointing out that this celebration comes in gratitude and appreciation for the role of the Asharqia Chamber and those who established its structure and laid the foundations of its beginnings and formulated the strategy for its launch, and it was and still is the model room in the Kingdom and the Gulf region.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors stressed that Asharqia Chamber is a forerunner in formulating initiatives and providing sustainable programs and has an honorable record rich in experiences and giving, and since its establishment, it has constituted a model for positive cooperation and a platform for communication with all parties, which created the economic environment for the business sector, which enabled it to effectively contribute to the growth and development process over the years. years, and that the celebration embodies the stages of economic renaissance experienced by the eastern region, pointing to the great role played by the chamber in supporting the state’s economic orientations and how the business sector in the eastern region responded to them.
